The intense racing culminated in a dead heat in the finals.

 

Matthew Rotherham and James Berryman weren’t even allowed off the bikes before having to complete a 250m ride off, which Matt won.

The racing in the girls event was every bit as close as the boys. The eventual winner rode faster than any women have ever been on the Rollapaluza rig.

    A great event very much enjoyed by my youngster!

    Loves what you did and how you did it….

    Is now hooked and wonders whether her winning time is a national record.

    As roller rigs are made by different manufacturers they give different times, so there is no real National record.

    Her time is however a new Rollapaluza female record (all ages) this is a considerable achievement considering we’ve had over 8000 riders on this rig.
