Matt Crampton smashes Rollapaluza record…in pictures
Just Amazing, top bloke Matt smashes a record we thought would stand for ages, see pictures below.
17.90 seconds! that’s 100.6 kmh on an 85″gear or 254rpm …amazing on standard 170mm cranks!
Matt was good enough to take time out from the racing at Revolution 24 to take part.
The previous record was 18.94 seconds held by Craig Maclean, there’s a video of Craig’s ride here.

That is an awesome time, I had a go for the first time on Saturday night at Revolution 24, a fantastic experience!

Good to see my images being put to good use. I was there when Craig broke the record in Salford and there when Matt smashed it to pieces, a fantastic effort from a top rider who had been on form all night.
Chapeau to Matt, and to the Roller team for another excellent event.
