We can measure your power!

“peak power” to become competition within a competition at Rollapaluza.

Unbeknownst to competitors at last night’s Bicycle Film Festival Rollapaluza at Look Mum No Hands we covertly tested a new bit of kit we’re very excited about. In partnership with Cycleops we have introduced powertap hubs to the Rollapaluza Condor bikes. So at selected events as from now, we’ll be measuring your peak power, who knows, there may be a separate prize list for muscle men and women. Unbelievably of the half a dozen or so riders we tested Rollapaluza’s own Winston set the highest power output at 980 watts, pretty sure this won’t be the record for long though….!

Thanks to Paligap the UK distributors of Powertap  for supporting us on this and also thanks to Condor for building the wheels…..

Condor were  in force last night with half their women’s team racing, eventually taking first and second place, they also brought along one of their top roadies Dan Craven, who found he didn’t have the cadence required to match London’s amateur polo players and fixed riders and qualified in only 17th place with a time of 25.24 seconds, but more than made up for this with his enthusiastic cheering of his female team-mates.
